I think you described depression really well in your previous post. And you're right. People who haven't been through it, can never really understand what it's like. I like you sense of humour despite it all. I think it's important to laugh.
So happy to see you back! What happened? I haven't read back yet to see if you already said. My whole blog comes up as question marks on Safari, but is fine on Netscape all the sudden. I wouldn't know what to do if it disappeared. I need y'all!
I just read light and dark, and it really helped to hear "You have the right to feel sad. You have the right to feel rage."
I go from being very perseverent about doing miniscule/monumental thing that might give me just a little edge, a little traction when the energy is going to...someday...come back, to all the crazy thoughts and seemingly necessary actions; and I can hear (from the top of the well) that I've been this way before, and gotten through it - but I don't think I've heard, "you have a right to feel sad. You have a right to feel rage." I needed to hear someone say that. I feel sadness beyond my ability to describe, and I feel rage beyond my ability to describe. Not at anyone, just at all that is in the way.

When you have lived with depressed people most of your life,you come to know it well. It also affects people differently, but I know it well.
