I'll tell ya...with the day I had yesterday....I can use a little lighthearted fun! Between having MS symptoms and being told that my babysitter for my son is quitting....well...set me up with some martinis in the sun why don't ya so I can forget the world? In lieu of martinis...how about a flashback kids? Remember this movie...Flashdance? And the scene in the restaurant?
Toes...as in my previous posting....can indeed be a source of pain...but we all know that they can also be a source of pleasure. Enjoy. :>)

Seems like you go through a lot of sitters. Don't they realize what the job is when they sign up? It can't be easy, but they know what they are agreeing to so quitting suddenly seems like a crappy thing to do.
Just wanted to add a "good for you" about the My Focus is my child entry.
Being in education I see way too many parents whose autistic children are weapons for them. They are obviously frustrated with their lives and they use their children as blunt objects to hammer away at society.
This is my banner year with autism. Two kids, both with Aspergers (sp?) and both a challenge. One has rotten parents and she copes as well as she can. The other has a great mother and is joy to deal with.
