I am actually...a little verklempt (overwhelmed with emotion) with all your kindness and support and friendship here. I can be myself and feel accepted. This is my little island...my small refuge...where know I can go and be free.

i don't know, merelyme. if memory serves (thinking about history classes from way back yonder) many 'progressive' things happened during the progressive era.
We all need somebody or something to lean on, just make sure it's worthy of your leaning......
I use to use on-line-video games as my refuge but sitting at the computer for hours a day wasn't the best idea. Now, I just read a few blogs write some and go for a walk.
