Okay, I won't ask, but I am thankful for those things, too. Just imagine life without them -- no, never mind. We can be grateful and move on to happier thoughts.
Basic things like plumbing is something I am greatful for and can't live without. I won't ask.

Yes, that's certainly something to be thankful for. I had some problem recently with that and know how good to have it working properly :)

agreed, but i'm also thankful for electricity during these freezing times... need both water and power to make eats! ;) lol
Oh I hear ya!! I think about that everyday. Especially hot water and safe drinking water having lived in Africa.
Plus, we go camping up in the mountains with some friends every year and stay on some land that one of my friends parents own. They live off the grid and don't have a shower.
