Just chillin with my homies here. Penguins...they just seem to dig me. What can I say?
My son wanted a photo with me and his penguins. This isn't even all of them. I think they multiply during the night.
Had to steal the chair from the dog as you can see here.
Usually I cannot find a chair in the house without either a cat, a kitten, a dog, a boy, or penguins in it. Here is a successful moment when I actually get to sit in a chair without sharing. Luxury! We have this cool round chair which is large and comfy and can even spin around. Who could resist? This is where I do some chillin.
Where is your favorite place in your abode to relax?

Okay, I do see the other stuff now. That is a great chair! The penguins do have good taste in where, and with who, to hang out.
My place? In my little computer room, either in front of it or on a rocker recliner by a window.

It's not fair on mere mortal man. Intelligent, compassionate, a wonderful writer and utterly gorgeously sexy too. That's just not fair. I know where my favorite to relax would be.
I love chillin in my big, overstuffed couch in my family room, with the blanket my mom made wrapped around me, and fire blazing in the fireplace. Pure heaven!
During the spring, summer and early fall, it's the couch on my back porch, facing the backyard and the mountain.
BTW: nice blog. Found it through Travis Erwin's. Will do more exploring in the coming days.

As for me, I like hanging out on the big gold sectional in the living room while it's quiet and I'm alone. Then when one of my little kitties curls up against my leg and the other kitty relaxes on the back of the sofa, I'm in kitty, quiet, computer heaven.
Then I can cozy up and go visit all of my favorite blogs. : )

Favorite place, When I had a wifi in the apartment, I would write at the kitchen table. It overlooks a beautiful big tree, and there is a family of birds that live there every spring. I love to watch momma sit in her nest with the babies.... and watch the babies grow up and learn to fly.
I loved that. Now my favorite place is this over stuffed couch I got last year when my mom moved. It is also the favorite nap spot of kitty. We sit on the couch side by side, and she nestles up against me and sleeps. It is wonderful.
From the couch I can look out the window and look at the stars. Above the couch, is a Van Gogh print I got the last time the exhibit was in Manhattan, of Starry Night...I have a TV tray next to me, with a glass of diet peach ice tea, and I am in heaven.

My favourite place is in our spare bedroom that I am steathily taking over as my music room to practice my guitar playing - and BOY does it need practice.
Personal space is the best! actually i feel most comfortable in my office. It is personalized with 3 of my paintings and other personal Knick knacks. It seems to be mine completely and I feel safe there!

Any place I can find a sunbeam is a favourite spot of mine. Around the apartment complex where I live there are two sets of lawn chairs. Depending on where the sun is you'll find me in one of those with my book du jour and my after dinner or before breakfast coffee....

Have to get there before the cat or Gni Gni (the dog) gets there, first.
Gosh, isn't it great to be owned by such well to do animals that they have the run of the house AND furniture?

I love my big old king sized bed. Prop up with pillows and turn on the TV. Cat and dog both in bed with me. We're happy.

Your home looks so comfy and warm. Mine is large, dark, drafty and, quite frankly, frightening. I suppose I relax in the Eastern Garret, where the sounds of chains and screams and the disembodied laughter of small children is faint, and the walls don't bleed.
Okay, don't bleed much! ;-)
Our big Jacuzzi tub, either solo or with company. If with company my intentions may be different than just relaxing.
My dog likes to lay like that too. In fact, it's her favorite position! So dainty...
I spend a lot of time traveling for my job and so I pick the most comfortable chair to sit in with the laptop.

I can't say I have a favorite place in my home to "chill", but my cat does...and that space for her would be ANYWHERE I might want to sit or have just been cozily seated!

lol... no critters in my current place, and my son has his own room, so i park my butt pretty much anywhere i wanna ;)
I woman I worked with in Chicago suffered from MS and was also drop-dead gorgeous. If I hadn't been already married, I might have fallen in love with her.
P.S. I wouldn't mind visiting Steve Malley's house, but maybe just for an hour or so.
