I got this letter yesterday. Shall I do this? I saw Whimsy's blog on there! I wonder how they found me?

Hello,
We would like to do an interview with you about your blog for
www.BlogInterviewer.com . We'd like to give you the opportunity to
give us some insight on the "person behind the blog."
It would just take a few minutes of your time. The interview form can
be submitted online at http://bloginterviewer.com/submit-an-interview
Best regards,
Mike Thomas

That would be fun!..Why not..why not?!..:>
As a professional journalist, I resent the use of impersonal forms being called "interviews." A true interviewer is a personalized, freewheeling exchange that draws out things about you that you may not have even realized you had been thinking out. There's a very fine art to interviewing. What's being proposed here is soulless, robotic and every bit as impersonal as Internet detractors claim online exchanges are.
I vote for "no."
yeah...i wonder if it is really an invitation for spam. i just don't know.
Well, I too am a professinal journalist and have been for 30 years and while I agree with Ninja that it's not a real interview, I've done it and it's kind of fun.
And, thank you for visiting my blog and please come back again. I like yours and I'll come back here, too.
A blogging friend of mine had a very unpleasant experience with BlogInterviewer. I quote from one of her emails:
"...he misrepresents himself. My advice is to stay far, far, away. The interview I submitted is not littered with underlined words that are links to advertisers."
The interview she submitted now has several of her words underlined - links to advertisers she has nothing to do with. BlogInterviewer seems to be a money-making scheme for its' perpetrator with no real benefit to the bloggers he suckers into it.
Avoid it!
ah ha!!! i knew it! thank you wizard! our dear whimsy did it though...too late to warn her.
that is good to know.
i'm always kind of suspicious of things like that..
EGADS! Glad I have not fallen prey to this scam. Good fortune that you have fellow bloggers to warn you of this.
