thanks for all the advice...

i am still having my "episodes" of spasms, convulsions, whatever someone wants to call them. the best term that i found for them are focal motor seizures but i was told i am not having seizures.

still waiting for the nurse at my neurologist's office to call back.

wish i could schedule when the episodes would happen during the day so i could get them over with. lol

one happy thing is...i am getting a kitten. i decided that i need one. she will be spayed and ready for next thursday. yay! she is a little tuxedo cat. i will have to tell the details of my adventures at the animal shelter.

i hope you all are having a good day. :>)

You should not have to wait this long to hear back from your neurologist. IMO, it is time to seek a new neurologist. It is very important to have a good working relationship between you and your doctors. Your doctors should be in communication with your primary doctor that way your primary doctor office would have a record of what your neurologist or any other specialist is doing for you.

I suffer MS spasms and Zanaflex works with keeping my spasms in control. I no longer have to take Zanaflex everyday; I now take it as needed.

It might be time for your to have a Solumedrol Infusion or Medrol Dospak to help get your symptoms in control.

The above is just my opinion and experience. I hope you find a good neurological office that will be there for you as they should, but most of all I hope you feel better soon.

So wonderful that you are getting a kitten! I used to have a few of them. Very lovable and adoring. Having animals can be very therapeutic. Hope you are feeling better. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Have a restful weekends. Hugs.

Lots of love and warm fuzzy experiences with you new kitten.
I am getting a new dog, another Great Dane. Now if I can only keep her from getting shot by the neighbour who killed my last one.

Meow. Fibromyalgia. Neuro won't DX that. Just some advice from someone who knows someone with same symptoms...at least cancel it out. Sometimes that is only road to health/help, canceling other crap out. Meow, purr purrr
