Question for the Day...

I was just thinking that I come from a generation who did not know life without television. Now my kids are a generation who will not know life without computers.

Can you imagine life without television or computers?

Which one of these inventions could you least do without and why?

a. your computer

b. television

c. your cell phone

Tough choice. Probably my computer because it also provides some of the features of a TV and a phone: entertainment, news and personal communication.

No question about it - I could live without the cell phone.

But don't touch my TVs or computer!

Merelyme,
Hello there! Thanks for visiting my blog. I noticed that you have MS. My mother has MS also. She is 65 years old and got MS when she was 45.

Cell phones because I hate phones because I am hard of hearing. :)

Cell phone for me too.
You had to ask why, didn't you?
Uhhh..., because I'm a Hermit. The other two provide entertainment of sorts. The phone provides wrong numbers.

That's easy. I can least do without the computer. I already do without tv and only use my cell phone occasionally.

I'm linking you on my blog.

Hands down my computer. I can remember the first time I saw color TV, trips to the drug store with Dad to check tubes on their machine, tin foil on the rabbit ears, horizontal hold problems, and "snow" on the screen!
Mom and Dad had the same black rotary phone for 40 some years, now cells wear out in months.

I posted about my retirement party in my blob with a follow-up in the comments!

Probably my computer...but ONLY because I couldn't visit here without it. **sticks finger in cheek and spins it cutely for points**

The computer. I can watch TV on it and if someone wants to contact me they can they don't need a cellphone to do that.

take the tv ... puleeze..
most everything on there is crap anyway.

on another note..
during my early teens my mother's tv went on the blitz ..
she never bought another one. i spent my formative teenage years sans tv, but i did learn how to play the piano fairly well.

cell phone, then tv, then computer
I mean, computers can do the basic jobs of the others.

Television gets the boot.

Aside from the computer being loads of fun (coming to sites like yours, for example!), the computer and cellphone are indispensable to my business.

I agree with those above. The TV could go first followed by the cellphone. Don't take my 'puter away.

I can do without tv, partly because I don't watch too much of it, and partly because I can find the shows I want on the puter or play cd's on the puter.

i rarely use my cell, only occasionally watch the boob tube, so the computer wins, hands down... i think i have an addiction to it! ;) lol

Easy one, I don't even own a cell.

Yah, computer has to come last in that list. Cellie? Take my electronic leash? Hmmmm. *g* Tele? Oh yes, I could live without the Square Headed Girlfriend.

I could easily live without a cell phone. As a matter of fact, I've yet to own one, so that proves the truth of that statement!

Computer? Odd for a blogger to say, but I could do without it quite easily, thanks. Don't have one at home. All of my blogging happens from my office.

TV? My friend! My companion!

I guess that answers that question.

Too easy! The boob tube. I already do without it. Good question.
